Candy cane stripes
Aaaahhh, Christmas day. Woke up feeling refreshed after a night of partying with the family. Everyone was so excited to open presents. I was just excited to wear my Christmas hat :P

Merry Christmas from the Weiss family!!!
Nice to meet you!
This is my Aunt Pauline. She is daddy's godmother and mommy's new chatmate :) Aunt Pauline has been seeing my pictures since I was born and she was just sooooooo excited to finally meet me! Can you see the excitement on her face? I love all the stuff she's been sending me but the best so far was the NY Yankee World series bib! I proudly wore it the day she gave it to me. She is a big Yankees fan. I think we're going to get along pretty well ;-)

Hanging out with the girls
Cassidy and Tula wanted us to hang out at their new and awesome home so we went to Sea Cliff, the home of the famous Pirate's Booty, to visit them. They look bigger from the last time I saw them. Cassidy likes playing big sister with me. Tula, on the other hand, still does not feel comfy with me... It started snowing real hard that afternoon and Gramps was worried we won't make it back safe to Dogwood Lane so we had to scoot after dinner. I wouldn't have complained sleeping over. They had a cool attic I would have enjoyed sleeping in. Maybe next time :)

Space monkey!
I am 7 months old today and I am going fly in the sky for the very first time! My daddy couldn't have picked a better date to fly to New York! Woohoo! I am so excited I'm not going to sleep on the plane!!! That's how I roll 'coz I don't want to miss a thing. Mommy will have to amuse me the whole flight and daddy will have to walk me up and down the aisle once in a while. After all, they're already used to my non-sleeping habits ;-P Ok, maybe I will take a 10 minute power nap just to feel energized when we land. :P
Mommy, are those soap suds in the sky? That's one big giant bath tub! Where's the rubber ducky?

Christmas photoshoot
There seems to be a lot of hype about the coming Christmas season. My mom insisted that we have pictures taken by the Christmas tree in Santana Row to send to everyone. What is Christmas anyway? Is it about a giant tree with red, gold and silver balls hanging on its branches? Is it about the shopping craze that creates havoc in the malls? Or is it about a big fat guy in a red coat giving gifts to kids who are not on the naughty list? I hope it's about the last one! I have been a good boy this year (or so I think... mwahahahaha!) so maybe I will get a ton of gifts! Whatever the reason is for celebrating Christmas, I just hope everyone gets presents! ;-)

Not a fan of Xman...
My big brother Cheen never liked me from day One. He thinks that maybe if he ignores me, I would miraculously disappear. Good luck with that champ!
Where are my golf clubs?
While everyone was enjoying their succulent Thanksgiving dinner at the club, I decided to check out the well manicured greens outside. It is pretty awesome out here. Now I understand why Gramps and Grammy want to live in this wonderful oasis. This bald spot right here could be my future hole! I wish I had golf clubs to match my very preppy golf attire ;-) In 2 years maybe? Gramps would surely love that!

Half monkey, half fish ;-)
Today is the day I officially become a fish. It seems like a very big deal.. like I'm being baptized in holy waters. My daddy gave me some breathing lessons before we plunged into the warm bubbly bath. Gramps made sure this event was well documented.
When I finally got my cool board shorts wet,
I could not believe how the water felt so good against my baby skin! I was amazed at how the giant bathtub
could produce so many bubbles so fast! Amazing!
I did not cry once. I feel so at home.

Big boys eat cereals
I am now half a year old and my doctor said i am ready for big boy food! Yay! I guess it takes practice to learn how to swallow properly because the cereal just kept spilling back out. Good thing my mommy was fast enough to catch every single drop of it and shove it back in my mouth. I think I'm going to love eating. Daddy said that if i eat right i can beat him at any kind of sport! Watch out daddy!

Meeting my Ninang
After almost 6months, I finally got to meet my Ninang Charlyn! She couldn't make it to my blessing because of work. She was busy getting married when I was in LA last September so I didn't get to see her then. She basically has a hectic life! If it weren't for the Chicago Bears playing in the city, I would probably not see her until I turn two! :D I love my Ninang! I hope I see her more often...

I love my milk
I recently discovered that my hands are not just tasty but I could actually do wonders with them. Who needs daddy when I can drink my milk on my own?

5 months...
This is my new pal Ernie.... My Gramps got this for me :) He keeps me company with all the car rides we're always going on. When he gets cranky, I let him know who's the boss. After I'm done with Ernie, I make sure everybody else thinks straight too ;-)
It was exactly 5 months ago when my Gramps first saw me and boy have I missed him! I was so happy to know that he was flying out here just to see me that I made sure his trip was going to be worthwhile. We went to the mountains to have some cheese and wine while enjoying the view...
We went to San Francisco just to walk along the pier. After a loooooong walk, we got hungry and decided to have San Francisco's famous clam chowder. Of course, I had to wear my Yankees bib to keep me from getting all clammed up :D
Gramps gave in and shed his formal wear after seeing me in my duck PJ's. We went to E&O Trading Company before Gramps went back home. I was not in the mood to stay in my stroller. Gramps' lap proved more inviting.
I'm going to miss my one and only Gramps...

Octobeerrrrfest
So I found out that October is daddy's favorite month (well, next to May which is my birth month!) because he has the perfect excuse to try all sorts of beers from all over the earth. He was so excited to introduce me to the wonderful world of Marzen that he took me to one of the local breweries to sample their Octoberfest brew. Too bad they didn't have a straw but i got a whiff of what kind of beer daddy enjoys. Let me tell you, it sure smelled good!

Remember September
With a blink of an eye, September is almost over! Time sure flies... Being the busy bee that I am, I keep forgetting to update my blog :D Here are the events these past couple of weeks...
I got to wear a birthday party hat! This was my mommy's first birthday with me around!
We celebrated her birthday by going to a Filipino restaurant called Barrio Fiesta for dinner. Daddy wasn't particularly excited about the food but he'll do anything to make mommy happy :)
Day 2 of her celebration, we decided to go to Vasona Park to take advantage of the awesome weather. We set up our tent, watched the duckies on the lake while having some wine and cheese for lunch. Of course no birthday of mommy's is complete without chocolate! Aunt Pauline sent her chocolate covered cherries and it was the best ending for this day. I could tell from the smile on mommy's face!
My daddy and I like to play it rough. This is my first jiu jitsu lesson at the park. First he teaches me how to pass his guard...
Then he teaches me how to choke. I had to modify it because my arms just couldn't reach all the way to the back of his neck just yet ;-)
Last lesson of the day... armbar! Do I have to stop when he taps? ;-P
Daddy is not the only one who has relatives from Noo Yawk. My Auntie Candi flew all the way from the other side of the world just to see me! I feel so special :)
For my 4th monthsary, we drove all the way to LA to meet up with Grammy and Auntie Mish. Of course we had to stop by Valencia to meet my cousins Madison and Abbey too :)
Madison...
Abbey and Lola Amy...
Auntie Mish...
Grammy!!!
My Grammy is the best. She flew to LA all the way from New York to babysit me while my parents were out partying with my Ninang Charlyn who just got married. She was worried I could not remember her... How could I forget? She was the one who saved me from hunger the first few days of my life! She also knows how to tickle my fancy. She made me giggle for the first time :) I love my Grammy! I wish I could hang out with her more often...
I also got to meet my Ninang Anda. She is one of mommy's oldest friends. They've known each other since 5th grade! This is why my mommy trusts me in her hands while she happily sips her GnT :P
The highlight of this month is my Lola Nel. She flew all the way from Manila so she can take care of me for 6months while mommy is in school! Ain't that cool :D
She brought a lot of stuff for me. Uncle Bong sent me this awesome hat with a big X and this bib (Pilyo = Naughty). Thanks Uncle Bong! I use a million bibs a day because I leak a lot ;-)

Busy Bee
Whew! That was a long blogger break! I've been so busy discovering new things everyday that I keep forgetting to update my blog :P So what has been going on these past couple of weeks?...
I got on a horsie for the very first time :)
Been practicing my 'elos' :)
Working on my Tummy Time!!!
And finally sleeping more... :)
I also got to meet my cousin Maddie, Uncle Stu and Auntie Laura. They flew all the way from Noo Yawk to see me! We did a lot of things that weekend. We went to Santa Cruz beach...
Went to San Francisco and saw lots of fishies...
Posed in front of the crookedest street in the whole world...
Explored Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum...
and found a Yankees baby bat to match my Yankees shoes :) I bet Gramps is loving this pic now :P
I also had a Welcoming party wherein my parents got to say their promises to me in front of all of their family and friends. It's cool to have guardian angels too. I have lots! Uncle Stu and Auntie Laura, Ninang Louie and Ninong Jesse, Ninang Pauline and Ninong Anchit, Ninang Charlyn, Ninang Aura and Ninang Anda. It's nice to know that I have people, aside from mommy and daddy, to guide me in my journey through life. They got to say their wishes for me too. I love them all!
Lately, I've been so tired of lying down and staring at the boring ceiling that I've decided it was time for me to start sitting up. Since mommy can't leave me wedged at the corner of our couch anymore after my courageous attempt to stand on my own but ending up face flat on the couch, they decided to get me a high chair. I know I can't eat solid foods yet but this chair is great! It's much more exciting to be sitting upright because I can see a whole lot more!
I recently discovered that my really strong legs can get me higher. I still can't stand on my own but mommy and daddy help me out. See, I can even stand with one foot ;-)

Ants in The Pants!
I got ants in my pants and I want to dance. My Daddy loves to make up songs in his "Skeeter/Bobby/Gizmo" voice.

2 is the new 21
I finally turned 2(months)! Remember how I complained about how I didn't get a party for my 1 month? Well, Mommy and Daddy made up for it! I got to hang out with my cousins and they introduced me to this fantastic drink that comes in a new kind of bottle. Don't get me wrong, I still love my milk, especially from the tap, but this bottle just feels natural. Daddy says I'm a true Weiss-man. :)
My cousins are so cool. Talulah enjoys my company ... until her mom wants to hold me. Cassidy on the other hand is so silly and fun. She loves giving me kisses and talking to me and giving me life lessons that only a 4 year old would know.
I can't play with my toys yet, but my cousins do entertain me by showing me how to do it. Cassidy showed me how fast one could play with them, but I'm not sure that was the point. I thought that frog was just supposed to play "Mellow"dies.

We hung out on Stinson Beach with my cool Hawaiian gear. I stayed in the shade to protect my new skin... I just got this thing! I have all the time in the world to tan later.
