Remember September

With a blink of an eye, September is almost over! Time sure flies... Being the busy bee that I am, I keep forgetting to update my blog :D Here are the events these past couple of weeks...

I got to wear a birthday party hat! This was my mommy's first birthday with me around!

We celebrated her birthday by going to a Filipino restaurant called Barrio Fiesta for dinner. Daddy wasn't particularly excited about the food but he'll do anything to make mommy happy :)

Day 2 of her celebration, we decided to go to Vasona Park to take advantage of the awesome weather. We set up our tent, watched the duckies on the lake while having some wine and cheese for lunch. Of course no birthday of mommy's is complete without chocolate! Aunt Pauline sent her chocolate covered cherries and it was the best ending for this day. I could tell from the smile on mommy's face!

My daddy and I like to play it rough. This is my first jiu jitsu lesson at the park. First he teaches me how to pass his guard...

Then he teaches me how to choke. I had to modify it because my arms just couldn't reach all the way to the back of his neck just yet ;-)

Last lesson of the day... armbar! Do I have
to stop when he taps? ;-P

Daddy is not the only one who has relatives from Noo Yawk. My Auntie Candi flew all the way from the other side of the world just to see me! I feel so special :)

For my 4th monthsary, we drove all the way to LA to meet up with Grammy and Auntie Mish. Of course we had to stop by Valencia to meet my cousins Madison and Abbey too :)

Madison...

Abbey and Lola Amy...

Auntie Mish...

Grammy!!!

My Grammy is the best. She flew to LA all the way from New York to babysit me while my parents were out partying with my Ninang Charlyn who just got married. She was worried I could not remember her... How could I forget? She was the one who saved me from hunger the first few days of my life! She also knows how to tickle my fancy. She made me giggle for the first time :) I love my Grammy! I wish I could hang out with her more often...

I also got to meet my Ninang Anda. She is one of mommy's oldest friends. They've known each other since 5th grade! This is why my mommy trusts me in her hands while she happily sips her GnT :P

The highlight of this month is my Lola Nel. She flew all the way from Manila so she can take care of me for 6months while mommy is in school! Ain't that cool :D

She brought a lot of stuff for me. Uncle Bong sent me this awesome hat with a big X and this bib (Pilyo = Naughty). Thanks Uncle Bong! I use a million bibs a day because I leak a lot ;-)

Busy Bee

Whew! That was a long blogger break! I've been so busy discovering new things everyday that I keep forgetting to update my blog :P So what has been going on these past couple of weeks?...

I got on a horsie for the very first time :)

Been practicing my 'elos' :)

Working on my Tummy Time!!!

And finally sleeping more... :)

I also got to meet my cousin Maddie, Uncle Stu and Auntie Laura. They flew all the way from Noo Yawk to see me! We did a lot of things that weekend. We went to Santa Cruz beach...

Went to San Francisco and saw lots of fishies...

Posed in front of the crookedest street in the whole world...

Explored Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum...

and found a Yankees baby bat to match my Yankees shoes :) I bet Gramps is loving this pic now :P

I also had a Welcoming party wherein my parents got to say their promises to me in front of all of their family and friends. It's cool to have guardian angels too. I have lots! Uncle Stu and Auntie Laura, Ninang Louie and Ninong Jesse, Ninang Pauline and Ninong Anchit, Ninang Charlyn, Ninang Aura and Ninang Anda. It's nice to know that I have people, aside from mommy and daddy, to guide me in my journey through life. They got to say their wishes for me too. I love them all!

Lately, I've been so tired of lying down and staring at the boring ceiling that I've decided it was time for me to start sitting up. Since mommy can't leave me wedged at the corner of our couch anymore after my courageous attempt to stand on my own but ending up face flat on the couch, they decided to get me a high chair. I know I can't eat solid foods yet but this chair is great! It's much more exciting to be sitting upright because I can see a whole lot more!

I recently discovered that my really strong legs can get me higher. I still can't stand on my own but mommy and daddy help me out. See, I can even stand with one foot ;-)

Ants in The Pants!

I got ants in my pants and I want to dance. My Daddy loves to make up songs in his "Skeeter/Bobby/Gizmo" voice.

2 is the new 21

I finally turned 2(months)! Remember how I complained about how I didn't get a party for my 1 month? Well, Mommy and Daddy made up for it! I got to hang out with my cousins and they introduced me to this fantastic drink that comes in a new kind of bottle. Don't get me wrong, I still love my milk, especially from the tap, but this bottle just feels natural. Daddy says I'm a true Weiss-man. :)

My cousins are so cool. Talulah enjoys my company ... until her mom wants to hold me. Cassidy on the other hand is so silly and fun. She loves giving me kisses and talking to me and giving me life lessons that only a 4 year old would know.

We hung out on Stinson Beach with my cool Hawaiian gear. I stayed in the shade to protect my new skin... I just got this thing! I have all the time in the world to tan later.

I can't play with my toys yet, but my cousins do entertain me by showing me how to do it. Cassidy showed me how fast one could play with them, but I'm not sure that was the point. I thought that frog was just supposed to play "Mellow"dies.

After a while we got tired of playing with the toys so we decided to hang out on the bed. This was relaxing after all that commotion outside with the older gang.

Isn't she loving?! :)

So easy, even a caveman can do it!

Today my parents decided to immortalize my hand and footprints. At the office, we met Nouvelle and her parents. She also happens to speak Caveman. We decided to show off our grunting skills for the amusement of our parents. We discussed the comfort of our car seats and how irritating it is to be strapped in. It feels good to have someone understand what I'm trying to say.
